This broadside, for “Big Double Header” baseball game for local African American teams at the “Colored Ballpark,” was found in a Cochran, Georgia’s newspaper’s archive.  

The teams listed on the broadside are from Georgia towns around Cochran: Cordele Clowns, Ashburn Tigers, Valdosta Trogens.

“Game Called at 3 O’clock” has been struck through in pencil.

Condition: The broadside is complete. The broadside is split on an old fold; remarkably there is no paper loss. Careful framing or restoration can allow display.
