Description

This broadside for the last baseball game of the season for colored teams at the Colored Ballpark was found in Cochran, Georgia’s newspaper’s archive.  

The teams listed on the broadside are from Georgia towns around Cochran, Georgia: Pelham Pilots, Ashburn Tigers, Camilla Cubans, Hawkinsville Lions.

Handwritten in script on the  left side: “Last Game of Season, Big Barbeque”

Dimensions: 6” wide x 9” tall

Date: 1900-1950 

Origin:  Cochran, GA newspaper archive

Condition: The broadside is complete. There are some creases in the corners and three fold lines. One of the fold lines is slightly torn for ⅛ inch. Please see photos as they are an integral part of the condition report and ask any questions that you have about the item so that we can satisfy you.
