Antique Vajrapani in Yab Yum Heruka Buddha Thangka (or Thanka) from Tibet. The three figures on the top have gold gilded halos. Embroidery in the red border is done in a silver thread which is now tarnished.
Dimensions: Frame 26” w, 34” h; Thangka: 20.5” w, 28.5” h
Date: 1800-1850, Sold to me as the 18th century, but is more likely 1800-1850
Condition: Condition report: Used condition: Good- fabric warped; scuffs and scratches to paint; some cracking to gouache; nicks, scratches, and abrasions to frame.
