Provenance: Savannah estate of George W Sciple.

Maker: Lawrence Harris – Self-taught, he would go on to be selected as one of the top 100 artists of 100 years of painting in the Pikes Peak region. He was included in the exhibition at Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, “A Show of Color” and exhibition to honor the centennial of that city in 1971.
